With the continuous deepening and expansion of lean improvement, Nantong Hongtu has always firmly believed in the concept of "Creation first educates people", and always put talent training in an important position to promote lean change. To this end, Nantong Hongtu implemented the third TLGL Lean Leadership Training in early June 2018 to further train lean change talents for the company.
TLGL Lean Leadership Training lasts for 8 days. The trainees are 24 managers, directors, module directors and foremen from all departments. The purpose of this training is to gradually change the traditional management concepts of trainees, improve their team leadership and lean skills, and assist trainees to make on-site improvement breakthroughs, so as to create an efficient management model among organizational levels and gradually make trainees the leader of lean improvement in all aspects of the company's business, leading the team in their respective positions. This training period has been closely around the construction of efficient teams and performance management, the application of lean tools to improve production sites, the establishment of managers'standard operations, the establishment of regional control and visual management system, the mastery of teaching subordinates' skills, grasp practical problem solving methods and other objectives. In view of the above objectives, in the training, the seven major tasks of on-site management, the standard work of leaders, the visual management, the daily goal responsibility process, the on-site management audit and the eight-step method of problem solving were carried out respectively. The trainees were trained through team building, teacher teaching, classroom assignment, game interaction, topic research, improving practice, outdoor pulling, and so on. Under the strict requirement of high standards of teachers, the trainees have experienced a devil-like temper in body and mind, facing teachers'continuous denial and punishment, nervous high-tension team rituals, mountainous classroom work and after-school work, long-distance outdoor training, knowledge summary and report and other multi-dimensional and high-intensity training during the training process. Lean leadership training is a process of internalizing Lean concepts and knowledge into the heart and externalizing them into practice. On the one hand, the trainees have gained a brand-new experience in team building, management awareness, lean skills upgrading, will tempering and practical ability; on the other hand, the trainees will return to their respective management positions with a 90-day improvement task, and apply the knowledge and skills learned to team building, project improvement and subordinate training, so as to promote the whole staff.
